Shortly before turning in for bed last night, I received an email from Philip while he was at work. He said this:

"I want sex in the morning. ;)"

Now, I "indulge" him quite often in this request, but I don't like it too much. He gets home around 6am, so it's right in the middle of my sleep. And it usually keeps me awake afterwards, when I could be getting another hour or more of sleep before waking up to take A.J. to school. So I emailed him back this reply:

"i want a million dollars."

Imagine my surprise when I found this on my desk this morning:




I knew these things existed, but I'm surprised that he was able to find/get one and bring it home with him this morning. Goofy guy!

Yep. Except for a brief stint working days over five years ago, he's always worked nights. He works from 4:30pm to 5:30 or 6am. He's a cop in the underground Strategic Air Command Headquarters here at Offutt AFB.
