The soundtracks of my life.

I'm a soundtrack junkie. I've said this for years, but it is really, really true.

In re-organizing my iTunes, it becomes oh-so-apparent how many, many soundtracks I have. Oy.

When I had my CDs organized (before Meg was born), there were in 3 main sections: Holiday, Soundtracks, and Other. Holiday & Other were alpha by artist, then chronological by release date, with collections at the end in alpha order by title. Soundtracks was alpha by play/movie/tv show, then chronological by date of performance/release, with collections at the end in alpha order by title - it was a big enough subset of the collection that it deserved it's own section.

I wish my CDs were still that organized, that my iTunes wasn't so messy, and that I had a quick way to see which CDs still need to be imported to iTunes.

I wish I could take a trip down there too! But my iPod only holds 4 gig (it's a nano). My iTunes, on the other hand, is currently just under 67 gig. I've considered getting an external harddrive just to store my music!

But YES. Get an external. I have mine backed up on it in case we were ever to lose what's on the computer. I *NEVER* want to rip this stuff again!
