Baking for Philip.

navygreenThe last batch of chocolate chip cookies are in the oven now, and I'm debating making some snickerdoodles later. Philip really loves both of those - and he deserves them, doesn't he? ;-)
It surreal, you know. It's just hard to actually believe that he's going to be home in such a short time that it's now actually okay to start baking for him again. Crazy! The wait was so long, but the end has been moving so fast!
We made a big banner today, and folks have been coming over all afternoon to sign it. He's got some major artwork to appreciate when he gets home! If any of you guys would like to add something to the banner, email it to me - I'll print it out and stick it on there for you. :-)
In less than 22 hours now, Philip will be back in the good ol' United States! (He will be spending the night in Baltimore tomorrow evening, but he won't be home until Wednesday morning.) Yay!
