Is the rest of the equation so hard to learn?

It's funny how the neighbors hate me so much, yet they need to use my yard to have fun. I know that my swingset is a major attraction in the neighborhood and my grass is soft, fluffy and fertilized (I suppose that's why their dog keeps running away and coming here)... but really.

294-6110. A handy number to know if you've got people that won't stay off your property.

They aren't using your swing set are they? Are you beginning to report the dog to security?

No, no. Not using it - just standing around and near it (which is decidedly over the property line). Maybe they can't see well? Can't fault people for being blind, now can we?

No you can't fault them for being dumb but maybe one of those invisible fences where you can zap them when they wander too close? Would housing let you put up something? You are afraid that someone might get hurt when you are not around.

Can you say,"leash"!
I would so be beyond pissed off!!

A leash would mean that they actually care about the welfare of their dog; therefore, that won't happen, chick.

How could anyone possibly hate you??

Aren't you sweet? :-D

It's a paradox, apparently. I mean they hate me, but they absolutely *love* reading my journal (and then emailing me about it).

First - your layout is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Second - I am still having a hard time understanding how anyone could dislike you at all. You're a fabulous mother, a wonderful friend and seem to be a wonderful neighbor. If you don't mind me asking, what do they have a problem with you over?? I can't imagine what it could be!!

She is a great neighbor! Totally the best! I don't know what we would've done without her. ; p *Abrazos y Besos Nicole*

You'd better not look at them funny. They will likely write up snotty, misspelled, grammar-challenged posts about you giving them the evil eye!! :-)

I have a grammer icon and can't find it! Would have been perfect for this post.

mmmm.... fence.

It would be an option, yes, but my yard is large and gorgeous. A fence can only be certain proportions, and it would end up making my large yard very small and 'pieced.' Therefore, we just don't bother. However, the property lines are quite clear: my yard is mowed, yet green and fluffy, while their yard is scalped and has big piles of cut grass everywhere.

Hard to believe they are able to have big piles of cut grass laying around everywhere -- it IS base housing, afterall! At our first assignment, we got a ticket for the yard not being mowed the day we moved into the house! The truck delivering our household goods were still there -- we were baffled and clueless!

Let them get their own swingset! I don't blame you one bit for wanting to keep them off of your property :o/

Now, now Nicole. I belive that Forrest Gump said it best when he said

"Stupid is as stupid does." ; p

I would make it a point to keep animal controls number handy too. Just in case you have any "stray" dogs in your yard. Not acceptable since you have small children dontcha know. Holla atcha girl.

I absolutely think you should call animal control or security about the dog each and every single time it gets loose. Loose animals were never allowed in any base housing we lived at... can't believe your idiot neighbors aren't aware of it.

Why on earth would they be nasty to you for returning the dog? I would LOVE to have you as my neighbor!!!

Do they have kids too?

On a more important note... I LOVE your new layout design with the "Boys of Summer" -- it is GORGEOUS! and looks like a scrapbook page!!!! I sure wish I had your talent! It's just beautiful!

*big hugs*
