I worked today, and the day passed very quickly - or so it felt. I didn't eat much though, as this heat has made my hunger diminish a little bit. I still haven't eaten dinner yet, and it's already after 11pm. The boys ate, of course, but my stuffed zucchini is still waiting for me in the fridge.

I took the portable DVD player to work with me today, too. (It occurred to me just a few days ago that I can use it in places OTHER than the car!) I watched all but 10 minutes of The Pacifier from my Netflix movies. I've really enjoyed it, and man - Vin is easy on the eyes! ;-)

6 months.

Today marked the 6-month date of Philip's leaving for Iraq.

It seems like an eternity ago that I wrote this entry, yet I'm really proud of us for 'plugging on' for another 2+ months until now. Of course, we still ache for Philip to be home, but I have to believe now that we've got less time left than what we've already endured.

And in that case, it's a happy milestone, right? My honey is coming home soon!
