Thursday was the date of our first date... fifteen years ago. We went to see Casper, and Philip's parents picked me up and dropped me off (we were both just 15, you see). A few months later, for my sweet 16th birthday in November (at a roller skating rink!), Philip gave me the VHS copy of the movie, and I cried. :-)

Me, Philip, my BFF Tanya, and Robert.
We don't celebrate these dates or anything, but it's ingrained as a part of me - I don't forget them, not ever. When I remembered it this year, it was a mind-trip: we're both now thirty years old, so we've now spent half our lives together.
Wow.

Ben and I met at 13 and are rapidly approaching 47... you do the math... lol Oh, and we hit 24 years of marriage next week... hard to remember a time Before Ben.
