I slept very well last night. Heather dressed my wound again, and for the first time - no more packing was needed! Yay! Marissa came over much later, and she stayed until just after 3am. She kept me company while I transferred over many more CDs to iTunes, and she used her Furminator® on my kitties. Putting music on the computer sucks, but transferring it from the computer to the iPod is awesome - faster than one song every second, even!

My nails are getting very long. I think I'll have to remedy that this afternoon after my shower. And speaking of showers, tonight will be the first time that I actually "do" my hair in over a week now. I'm going to the going-away get-together for a few moms in our 'Parents at Home' group tonight. Heather is going to stay with the kids while I go. Stephanie Hudson is moving off to England, Eve McLain is moving to... Seattle (I think?), and I only just found out that Angela Blake was leaving, though I have no idea where to. Sad to say so many goodbyes. :-( I'm taking scalloped potatoes tonight to our potluck, so I've got to get to the store and get all the ingredients here in a bit.

My heart goes out to all those with friends, family or loved ones in London/England right now. You're never expecting any date to become infamous, but I'm sure this one certainly will be. :-/
