The end of 'Five Days.'
Nov. 18th, 2005 05:24 pmAnd of course, as per the final day of the 'Five Days of Harry Potter FUNTIME!' event, I was to go see the movie, *squeeee* like a fangirl, take my wand and dress up.

We met and sat next to these really awesome chicks - very fun. They'd been at the theater since 7pm, and we arrived at about 9pm ourselves.
Heather and I also took a picture with our respective housemates, too. 'Syrian Black,' my fellow Slytherin, had an impeccable British accent, and I never heard her falter thoughout the night - quite impressive, actually! All the girls had aliases, and I sat next to 'Samantha Potter' (the Hufflepuff) during the film. It's really shocking just how much she looks like Ginny in person, though. She was very sweet to talk to.
A group of five guys reserved seats in the row in front of us, but then they moved down to the floor to play a bit ofpoker Exploding Snap for a couple of hours while they waited. They were nice guys, and one of them lent me his ticket stub during one of my many trips outside (because I'd left it up in the balcony in Heather's purse). There were a couple of guys dueling in the lobby, but when I went back with my camera to get a picture, they'd been forced to stop by the crabby security guard - she'd told me they'd been "fighting with sticks." She then tried to confiscate my camera, and I explained to her that I'd spoken with the theater the day before about cameras - she asked if I'd spoken to management about my camera... and I'll admit, I didn't deny that I hadn't, but I also didn't technically say that I had. She backed off then. ;-)
A group of very loud, very rude people picked the row behind us, and then they began arguing across the theater at the guys playing cards on the floor. This continued for a while, and shortly before the movie, I realized that once the guys stopped playing cards and moved back up to their seats, we'd be sitting exactly in between the two groups - one directly in front of us, and one directly in back. Yikes! Luckily, when it got down to the last ten minutes or so, everyone forgot to argue. *wipes brow*
The movie was... talked about in another post (gotcha!) Once it was over, we all crowded the exits and made for home. I didn't have any popcorn at all, and I forgot to drink half my drink too. I guess that's a good thing, right? ;-)
