Plain Cheerios are just not good. They really aren't. I put sugar on them, but they're still not great. Give me Honey Nut Cheerios any day!

I've got five Coke caps here on the desk that need to be entered into My Coke Rewards. Philip brought them home from work this morning.

My monstrous headache from last night is gone. Finally. I'm glad to have turned that corner, and it will make today much easier.

I'm enjoying the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I borrowed the books from Brett (very, VERY well-loved copies, I should point out), and I'm getting pulled in. I wanted to read the books before seeing the movies, so I've started them finally. If all goes well, I suppose I'll have another fandom... like I need one. Ha!

Thanks to some wonderful new pieces lately, I've become immersed in fanfiction again. Wooo, Dramione - how I'd missed you!

Tuesday.

I am being so lazy today. In fact, I'd be willing to let someone else post for me, even.

However, if someone were to post an entry for me, they'd have to make sure to throw in the birthday wishes, like so:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMBER!

I hope that you've had a marvelously fantastic day, sweetie!

And they'd have to be sure to make mention of the two new Christmas cards that arrived today, including one from [livejournal.com profile] heartrot (I was most excited to receive that one, having emailed and commented for a new addy, but fearing that the present lack of internet would hinder my efforts).

The poster would most likely shake their head when recalling the "progresses" of mine today; I've got so little to show for it, you see. The person would wonder, maybe rightly so, how I could become so wrapped up in a story that I've failed to dress myself. Or they might muse over the fact that, though I spent about three hours trimming the possibilities this morning, I've still only managed to reduce the quantity from 3000+ pictures to about 1900 - still many, MANY more than the 130 I'll have to pare down to in order to construct my new moodtheme.

Yep, it would be most helpful if someone would post an entry for me today, seeing as how I can't seem to accomplish much of anything for myself this particular Tuesday. ;-)

I've now put over 150 CDs worth of music onto the iPod. I can see the end now. I'm only putting on those CDs which Philip likes - I figure he won't mind if a few of my favorites aren't on there (Sound of Music, Evita, West Side Story, Britney Spears, flute stuff). ;-)

So I've just been sitting at the computer, reading Book Five and popping in a new CD every few minutes. And what I have discovered, folks, is that you can reach a very obvious point in fanfiction - for example, I can tell that I must've read too much fanfiction in the last year. How, you ask? Well, because as I'm sitting here at my desk reading Book Five, I go to grab my computer mouse EVERY TIME I need to turn the page of the book!

I didn't have starrchld Annie over for a sleepover tonight. I called her sometime this afternoon, and I begged off due to the anticipation of girly problems. )

I've not been reading LJ hardly at all these past 3 days. In fact, I've nearly ceased to exist online at all since I started this iPod stuff. It just makes the internet much too slow. It kinda stinks that I'll just be sitting there at work for over 9 hours, and if I could only take this stuff to work with me, I could finish it all in that time... but I can't. However, it *is* nice to see the end of it now, and I'm sure af_cop Philip will really appreciate it when he gets it.

Blistered.

I blistered my thumbages today while weeding the garden. I had the boys playing in their Slip 'n Slide, and I settled myself inside the garden jail fence for the next 3.5 hours. I didn't realize I had given myself a blister until about an hour after I stopped.

But boy! It sure is in the way for me to type!

I've been reading a Snape/Hermione fanfic for the past few nights. It's a very intense fic, and I find that I literally cannot handle more than one part each night. Not only that, but each part has required almost a solid hour's worth of reading, and I've not seen very many stories that do so. However, if you are interested, the story can be found here: here.
