Christmas, Runza-style.
Dec. 17th, 2006 10:49 pmSo, I had real drinks tonight at the Runza Christmas party. Lacey bought me an Amaretto Sour, and it wasn't too bad - kinda like Fresca, really (which I like). About 45 minutes later, Ryan made five of us drink a shot of something (again, Lacey ordered it, and no one else is sure what it was exactly), and we *think* it was a Washington Apple. OMG, whatever it was, it was horrific going down - like cough syrup, only worse! After that, the Amaretto Sour tasted mighty fine!
Unfortunately, I never felt a thing. I've been buzzed on Percocet and other meds before, and I was hoping there'd be a tiny amount of... something, anything. But nothing. Nothing at all. Seriously, how much does it take then?
But it was a fun, fun night. The food from the grill wasn't too bad (of course there were comments made about the food - we are a restaurant crew after all), and there were LOTS of laughs. There were chases around the lanes (Ryan and Charlotte), there were stellar games (Philip bowled a 190 - he was the 'Cinderella story' of the evening) and there were a few pictures taken. I believe Charlotte's husband Rick even snagged my camera while we were downing the shots (again - ugh, so nasty!), so I might have something to share later.
