A chapter closed.

I just resigned from MuggleNet. As many of you know, I've worked in the Editorials section on that site for several years now. It is with a heavy sigh that I close that chapter, realizing that I no longer have the time to devote to my work, and that MuggleNet deserves only the best I can give them.

It has been such a fun, exciting part of my life. I've met SO MANY people through my work over there - both in the regular Editorials section, as well as the columns that I headed or co-ran. I designed many a graphic for our section, and I enjoyed spending time as a Staff member out at the release party of Book Six in Chicago.

I will dearly miss my fellow editors: Sara, Rachael, Katie, Esther, and even a few that I didn't work with for very long (Jamie, Sharon, and Amy). I will hope for continued correspondence from a few of my favorite columnists, and I will keep up with the lives of my fellow MN-staffers who have been good friends: Emerson, Andrew, Cat, Ben, and Natalie. Most of all, I will stay true to MuggleNet as the best source of Harry Potter news on the world wide web. I still check the site daily, and I will continue to do so.

For me, now? The only pages left to write are those of my own history.

It's sad, but it's understandable that you had to do it. *HUGS* When it's time to leave, you just know it. But your personal life takes priority right now.

It's not really so much my personal life... it's more of a lack of drive - especially now that the HP fandom is closing in. :-/

Oh, it's quite sad that you're resigning. But I suppose it's better to resign then stay on and do a not so good job due to lack of time. I think you're making a wise decision. :)

It's that, plus the editorial fandom has been winding down. There's not much left to be speculated and theorized, you know? The books are over. :-/
