Couple of things.

I did go grocery shopping, and I got out of there for under $90.

Josie is here now for a few hours, and we're going outside to play. I hope to tat. :-)

Edited to add: It's almost 7pm now, and the cloud cover outside has made it too cold for me to stay outside any longer now. Plus, it's dinnertime. :-)

I swear I go in for a "few things" and have a list and then things jump in my cart. Like this morning I spent $53 just picking up dinner and soy milk, but I walked out with 6 bags of groceries and still only the fixings for tonight's dinner and some random things.

I shopped very well today, and I was quite proud of myself. Even with dropping $20 on toilet paper and AA batteries alone, I was still under $90, and we're good for about two weeks. :-)

Oh, how I long for it to be too cold to stay outside :/ It's 92 here right now. Last week I had to wear a jacket to work. I don't like it when it's hot unless I can swim! MUCH prefer cooler weather. *hugs* I'll trade you!

I want to go swimming, too! The pools all opened on May 26th, but it's only hitting about the upper 70's, and that's still just too cold for me to swim!

I thought so. I did really well with sticking to my smallish list, and I only "impulse" purchased a 24-pack of toilet paper (we needed it, but I forgot it on the list) and a 30-pack of AA batteries (again, something we needed it that I'd not thought to write down). And between those two items, there was $20 alone!
