Harry Potter
Yes, I have been sucked in. I couldn't stand reading anymore on my friends' list without having a CLUE what everyone was raving all about! So I borrowed books 1 & 2 from hetterrific yesterday. I just finished Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Wonderful. Everything that I thought it would be. I *needed* to keep turning the pages. I'm off in a bit to watch the movie, and I might start the 2nd book tonight as well. Yes, I've truly been sucked in. ;-D

My Eye
I know one of you has been very worried about me (ahem... pattyjo/ofbg), so I wanted to be sure and update and let you know that I'm not dead. ;-) My eye cleared up on its own about 2-1/2 days after the whole thing began. Mysterious all the way around - the initial swelling and then the fixing itself. Hmmm. And no, I never did make it to the doctor. I had too many important things to do on Friday, such as...

Longaberger!
I made my goal!! *insert VERY HAPPY dance here** I will be finishing off the 2002-2003 sales year with a grand total of $15,058! I was on the phone ALL DAY Friday and Saturday, calling my entire customer base, and even 'friends of friends' - but I made it! That is a 344% growth over last year's sales! WOOHOO!!

It is because I have been ever so busy fielding sales calls, putting in shows, writing up zillions of thank-you notes, preparing mailings for July/August campaign, etc. - that I have not been online much at all. Oh, and I've been printing a TON of stuff out for a very special person... (it's going to be so neat, welfy!) But now I'm back. At least, for the moment. :-D In just a second, I'm going to settle myself down for a good HP movie!

I hope I've not missed anything wonderful/awful. If I have, email me and I'll catch up!

Yay for goals! Harry Potter? Ack. I'm still too proud and stubborn to read or watch Harry Potter, but someday maybe I'll hire someone to rent it for me or let me borrow the books and I'll wear a trenchcoat and sunglasses the entire time. :^)

Glad your eye cleared up. I flip out anytime something is in my eye, so when I hear about the plight of other people's eyes, my heart goes out to them!
