I woke up early this morning (hey, 7am is early for me!) and hopped into the shower. When I got out, I dressed and woke up the boys to get dressed and ready. We left the house at 7:54, and arrived at the school at exactly 8am. I gave A.J. his picture form with money to take to class, and I took Jack to the photographer for the "non-students" picture-taking. We waited in line with a few other kids, and then it was his turn. He did fabulous, got it done in one shot (I could see it on the computer instantly), and we were back out of there by 8:10.

I next went to the hospital for a blood test. I had blood drawn for a pregnancy test before I can continue with the colposcopy. I was able to take someone's cancellation this morning at 10:45, so I'll be having the procedure done then (otherwise it was another 3+ week wait before I could get in). I'm glad that it's earlier and is today - it's better than waiting around nervous for the next month. I mean, once the biopsy is done today, there's nothing else I can do until I hear back, right?

Now Jack and I are off to our Parents at Home meeting. We'll have to cut out half an hour early for me to make it to my appointment, but we both still wanted to go. I'll see ya on the flip side...

Most likely you'll be "waiting around nervous" until the results are in, but at least that time will be reduced by getting in today. Good luck. I'll be thinking of you today and hoping for good test results.

Good luck today! I've been thinking about you all morning.

Next month I can start going to the Parents at Home group too!!! I can't wait to be able to come to Bellevue to spend more time with you. Douglas and I, that is :-)

And, this is my only icon with Ron in it.

I know, we will be there. And as soon as I have my driver's license I'll be there so often you'll be begging me to leave.

It's so cool that the school lets non-students take pics. I've never heard of such a thing; do they charge you extra?

And yes, I agree that 7 am is early. For a creative writing class we were once req. to overhear a conversation (absurd, until you sort of realize that you'd be hearing it anyway..;) ) so I sat at my lunch break and heard some guy tell his friend that he always wanted a 7 am class because otherwise it would be "an hour wasted." Whaaaaaa?

I'm such a night owl. I'm more awake at night.

Yeah, I took Jack in last year as well. Then, he was the only non-student who came in for pictures, but this year there were several siblings in line. They're very nice, too - since there's not a huge group (like class after class coming in), the photographer has allowed me to pick the picture I like best, and I know right then and there what the pictures will look like. No surprises = great. Oh, and they're SO much cheaper than pictures at the (private) preschool!
