The sprinkler never stops here!

navygreenWe went to a free 'Fire Hydrant Party' today in base housing for a little while, and the boys had fun. There are two of these events every week in base housing, and this is the first one that we've made it to. Firefighters hook up a neat apparatus to the fire hydrant, and the kids play in the massive sprays created from it. (We went to a Parents at Home picnic last year where the same thing was happening, and it was tons of fun then.)

(It was such a massive amount of water that it looked like rain!)
Jack's got the beach ball.
(The kids would toss the beach ball onto the spray and then watch it shoot 30 feet into the air!)
Walking home.
This particular party was just a block from our house, so we walked over. I printed out a schedule of the remaining parties, and it's too bad there's not one planned using OUR hydrant. ;-)
For now, though, we're headed back to the pool. And tomorrow, we'll be out at the lake with our friends. The water adventures just never stop, it seems!
