I was asleep hard when the alarm went off this morning. HARD. I was not ready to get out of bed, but I did anyway. A girly get-together was planned for breakfast this morning, and I wasn't going to miss that. As I was putting on my shoes, I called Marissa to tell her I'd be there in five minutes to pick her up. Instead, she barely squeaked out a "Hel-fumble-rustle-lo??" I knew she was as asleep as I had been only a few minutes earlier. I told her I'd come by and get her after I dropped off Jack instead, and that's exactly what I did. We were then off to Panera Bread.

Girly breakfast was good and girly. And hot. I imagine that Panera Bread still had their heat running this morning, but they also had bread baking and the fireplace going in the dining area. I was stifling. It felt so good to walk back out into the spring breeze again when we left. I dropped Marissa off and came home for a bit. I started washing all of the boys' bedding, and I loaded the dishwasher. We deep-cleaned all the floors yesterday afternoon, and I wanted fresh bedding to go along with the super-clean feeling. Soon it was time to pick up Jack, and I did just that. Afterwards, he and I went to the commissary to pick up just a handful of things. We also went to the BX and bought a new computer mouse.

We came home, and I made lunches for us both. I rotated loads of laundry, and I washed some grapes and put away the rest of the fruit. I folded and put away all our clean laundry (which I washed last night), and Philip picked A.J. up at school (he had an early dismissal today). We all went outside to play for about two hours. Philip left for work, and then I read the first three chapters of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire to A.J. while we sat on the swing together. He thought it was really neat, especially since he feels like he knows what's going to happen, having already seen the movie countless times by now.

After coming inside, I remembered (finally!) to take pictures of the last few scrapbook pages while there was still daylight. I did that, and then I put the pages up over at nicole_scraps. :-)

Now it's time to go make dinner, I suppose. The new mouse is spiffy and works great, and so I'll try to get a Field Trip picture or two up later...

You always sound like you get SO much accomplished in a day. I feel like my days are "I got a shower and got dressed and loaded the dishwasher" and that's ALL I accomplish before James gets home from school. Maybe I need to start recording everything I do in a day so I can figure out where my time goes, because surely I must be doing more. I hope. ;-)

I was sooo tired, but so glad I got up. This morning was worth it! Although, I will admit, I came home and went back to bed at 11am and slept until just after 4pm. It's 8pm, and Blake still isn't home. :* ( Oh well, off I go to watch "Pride and Prejudice" Holla!

I went to Panera Bread for the first time ever a month ago. I got a really good "everything bagel" and a hot chocolate. Bagel=good, hot chocolate=ick. It was a neat place though.

Oh you lucky girl! I miss Panera Bread from the city. *cries*

I finally own the HP4 Movie. I am glad that I waited to see it until now. I got to enjoy it at home with the kids and I really hate theatres unless I go by myself :)
