I said Jack and A.J. were excited about the garden, didn't I?

Here is Jack, playing while holding onto things most important to him: his Sippy cup and his pumpkin seeds.

Jack and his new favorite possessions.

A.J.'s the same. He held onto his green bean seeds the whole time he was on the horsey:

A.J. and the green bean seeds.

And also this one:

Jack clutches the pumpkin seeds while he's on the trapeze rings.

The above three pictures were all from yesterday. The boys wouldn't let go of their seeds the entire time that starrchld Annie was laying out her garden's map.

The next few pictures are from today, taken during the four hours we were outside this afternoon/evening:

A.J. tries to drown out the ground squirrels with his little watering can.

Brad Thrasher tills up the area where Annie's garden will be.
It's approximately a 12x12-foot patch. :-)

Thomas! My brother was so into him when he was young! *sigh* Those were the days...

When Jack first started getting into it, I was surprised to find out how long he's really been around - the first books were written in 1945, and the TV show began airing in 1984!

1945?! Wow, I had no idea they were that old, yet it makes perfect sense. I remember watching the TV show with Ringo Starr and George Carlin (of all people!) and renting the videos from the library. It makes me happy to know that Thomas hasn't been forgotten. :)

Well, you can look... but you can't always giggle and scream and drool and flash your body parts if asked to (as is accepted in the concert setting). ;-D

You're such a good mommy. Your love for your little boys comes shining through.

Adam was Percy for Halloween last year. Angus made him an adorable costume out of cardboard and foam material. And paint. Lots and lots of paint.

If you have a picture, I know that Jack would *love* to see it. One of his preschool friends was Thomas last year, and when Jack first laid eyes on him, you could practically read his expression of, "I don't wanna be a T-Rex anymore; I wanna be Thomas," written all over his face!

I don't have any on disc, but I can send you one via snail mail if you think you might want to use it for a pattern idea.

Well, the easiest way to tell in this particular instance is that we are not CRAZY enough yet to hand Jack a real camera. :-P

Somehow, I knew you'd have something to say about this post. Hey, at least you know where to go to see the ones that don't show up for ya. ;-)
