Thanks :-) I took the day off of work, and F did too. His mom mailed me a gift card from Macy's and we had a gift card from a nursery that my boss's boss gave us as a housewarming gift, so we went shopping!

I got two pairs of boots on mega-sale at Macy's ($145 less than original price). At the nursery, we got a pot for my new orchid, some orchid fertilizer, and a bunch of herbs to start our herb garden.

Now I just gotta figure out exactly what you do with lavender.

wow... i totally missed the independence day thing. I'm a bad texan. Then again, I kind of either am apathetic too or despising of anything that is texan, besides tex-mex. Hmmm... i'm not from here, sooo, meh.
