Welp...

As of 2:30am, I have the best-looking driveway walkway on the block:








You can tell that the snow was still falling even as I was working. It only took me 1.5 hours to clear everything, and I actually went over it all twice, plus I did the back courtyard and took in the trash can (but I didn't take a pic of all that).

Now I just have to wait and see what it all looks like tomorrow.

I'm off for a shower and then bed. I already have places on my body that are sore - places that I'd forgotten existed since the last time I shoveled! :-P

The only thing that really stinks is that it always seems to be that the first big snow of the year comes when Philip has gone somewhere, and the kids and I are sick. Other than that, the snow would be just peachy.

You are one tough cookie! I would have just stayed in bed and sucked it up. but you got out and shoveled all that snow WHILE you are sick. You have got to be one of the strongest people I know :)

Wow, that's a lot of shovelling. If the snow is light enough I like to use one of those big push brooms. Then you don't have to lift and dump, which always wrenches my back.

I'm soooo glad I have a snowblower for days like this, although here in Fairfield, I think we only have about 2-3 inches. We'll see what the rest of the day brings.
