Sneak Peek #2!

Though we were both fine with not seeing our pics for a few weeks, Heather and I have now been DYING after seeing a teaser from marshmelococoa last week. Heather has been "wilting," and I've now worn out my F5 key from "refreshing" Heidi's photography blog so often.

But I can't help it! And, I'm sure you'll agree - the extra two pics she gifted each of us with today are SOOOOO good!

I've gotta share the pics in separate entries, though, for I can't figure out how to blog them from her Flickr account otherwise. So, there you go: the first one from today. I've got a feeling Heidi shared that one purposely, knowing how much I *love* walking shots. Isn't it great?!

In addition to the other pic, Heidi and I had discussed in my own picture-taking how much I'm currently enjoying 'edge' shots (what I call a photo where the subjects are right on the edge of the photo, with all the scenery and such filling the rest).

And then she gave me one!

I love her, I really do. Everyone needs a Heidi. *nods*

Big weekend ahead!

I should be sleeping already, in fact.

Tomorrow, we are taking the boys to their first amusement park! We've waited YEARS for this day - literally! - wanting both of the boys to be tall enough to ride all of the rollercoasters and such, and tomorrow is finally that day! We're headed to Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, so we'll be pulling out of here early tomorrow morning.

The plan is to then spend the entire day (the park closes at midnight!) at Worlds of Fun tomorrow, sleep in a hotel in the area, then spend all of Sunday at the partnering water park - Oceans of Fun. I've already bought and printed out all of our tickets, and we've been counting down the days for a couple weeks. The boys are SO excited!

I imagine that we will all be ZONKED by the time we pull back in the garage late on Sunday night. It's going to be hard and get up for work on Monday morning, I'll bet!

Here's hoping we don't all get *too* sunburned. *crosses fingers*
