In terms of excellence, how would I rate my movie faves of this summer? I know you're all just dying to know, and I've been mulling it over in my head for a couple of days. It's time to put the fingers to the keyboard and get it out there!

Nothing I have seen this summer has been bad. Nothing has even been mediocre. But certain things have definitely been awesome, and so this list is ranked accordingly.

- AWESOMEST!
The Dark Knight
Wanted
Get Smart
Wall-E
Prince Caspian
Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull
Kung Fu Panda

- PRETTY GOOD.

Remember, too, that I've not seen Ironman, The Hulk, or Speed Racer, though others in my household have, so I can't add them to my own list. And I know that there are still plans to see Space Chimps, Tropic Thunder, Hancock, and The Clone Wars yet. Also, I really want to go see Mamma Mia!, having thoroughly enjoyed the play with Heather a while back.

As for ranking any of those, well... I'll keep you posted. ;-)

I'm *dying* to see more!

She arrived here on Thursday, July 3rd, and she left after lunch on Sunday, July 6th. In those few days, she was a whirlwind of work! She had our session at the lake the night she arrived, Heather's little family the next morning, plus she took candid shots of the big, Fourth of July block bash as well. The next day, she took pictures of Heather's big family (her parents, as well as her brothers and their families), and then she shot Catherine's first birthday party that afternoon. We were blessed to have Heidi staying at our house during her visit, so any "down" time that we had (though there was still far too little!), she was chilling and chatting with me on the couch or over our computers.

(We were total geeks together, and it was great. At one point, Heidi remarked while sitting on my office floor, "You know, we live so far away from each other and never get to see one another, and yet, here we are - both sitting at computers and looking at our pictures together. I love it!" And she was so right and so true. She had taken over 1200 photos in her three days, and I had taken close to 800. We had a lot to "sift" through!)

Back to the topic at hand, though. I cannot WAIT to see more pics, and I was so giddy that I asked for permission to go ahead and share this first one. :-)
