Anyone here still think of me as "buttonmommy" (with or without the "1998" part, haha) in their head? It's been so long, but I remember back when I first changed it (March 2006!) that so many swore I would always be "buttonmommy." :-D

That's how I met you, and how I still think of you. I use your real name to mention your cookies, since you have it on Facebook, but to reference you to mutual friends I default to Buttonmommy. :)

LOL, no. Back when I started my journal (almost 10 years ago!), I had come over from a Longaberger basket forum where I had been active for about a year. My favorite basket at the time (and still!) was the Button Basket, and so I became "buttonmommy1998". I changed my name about 4 years in, and so many of my friends SWORE to me that I would always be "buttonmommy" in their minds, forever & ever. ;-)

Also, I see you've referenced moving across the country on FB, but I didn't remember seeing a post as to where you would be settling or what you will be doing? I came back here to see if you'd posted a lengthier story here, but you haven't...?

I haven't, you're right. It just takes so long to sit down & journal, and I've only touched on the bare minimum on FB, even. We're moving to the Houston, TX area. :-)

As for usernames, I remember easily "procreation," but I almost swear you were something else right before that. I've wracked my brain, but I just can't put a finger on it, though.

I think you'd remember procreation. I didn't think it ever "fit." Before that I journaled as Katt, and that journal is still there. I created a new journal when I was trying to get pregnant, and met so many wonderful friends through the process that I just never went back.

Good luck on your journey to civilian life! It makes me a little sad that we won't be "neighbors" any more :(
