That was absolutely the best episode of Glee ever. My very favoritest favorite, hands down.
I'd been so excited for Neil Patrick Harris to guest-star when I first read of it months ago. After all, Doogie's always got a special, special place in my heart, and I'm certifiable over Dr. Horrible, so I know he can sing OH.SO.WELL. I just couldn't wait, and this episode lived up to the hype.
Who else picked up the Glee Soundtrack, Volume 3 today? It's awesomesauce.
"Dream On" was just the best, best, best. Both Will and "Bryan Ryan" were spot on. I could watch that over and over.
Artie's storyline was just heart-wrenching with real honesty. Bless him and Tina. I had tears in my eyes once the music started and he began to sing, "Dream A Little Dream Of Me." (That song is close to my heart - I sang it every day to my babies when I rocked them. I ♥ Mama Cass.)
And then... I WAS RIGHT! Idina *is* Rachel's mother! I was kinda sad when she was introduced as only the instructor for Vocal Adrenaline, so it was justifying and satisfying for her character to finally "fall into place" tonight. Their duet was just beautiful, absolute music.
I can't wait for next week's episode. I already knew about the Gaga songs from the soundtrack, but the clips look phenomenal. The costumes!
Okay, I've gushed enough. :-D

So that was yeah, awesome. Better than even I had hoped. And exactly what I needed today, too. WOO!
The place I watch the episodes doesn't have the previews though :( so I don't know much about next week's episode.
