I wonder if anyone really loves bagels for anything more than their cream cheese delivery service?

I think I would choke on them raw - I prefer them toasted with tons of butter AND cream cheese. I like plain cream cheese but I also love FLAVORED cream cheese.

Just FYI, pretzels make an excellent delivery service for warmed up cream cheese. :P

I agree - to me, a plain bagel would be so, so dry. Then again, from the comments to this entry, I'm wondering if I've ever had a REAL bagel...

Regular pretzels, maybe. Philip likes those big, soft pretzels, and I think they're so yucky!

I do like the big soft pretzels too - but not from the frozen foods section - from the little stores in the mall but they don't have any around here.

So yes, regular pretzels - yummy.

I'm not sure I've had a 'real' bagel either now. But I can bet you that we're pretty unlikely to find one up here in these parts. :P
