navygreen: (Office: Jim - original)

It took us three weeks (including the entire week that Philip was gone) to watch the entire series of The Office up to last Thursday's episode, but we are completely caught up.

My gosh, what a fun ride!

When we started this project, we became disheartened quickly. Season One only had six episodes, and thank goodness for that - each one was a drag. We almost busted out of the deal after the first three episodes, but my pals on FaceBook convinced us to keep going. I'm so glad we did because Seasons Two and Three were just amazing! Absolutely hilarious, and we enjoyed every minute of them.

But we've seen it all now, and there's just too much goodness to even start on specific items. I've loved so very much, and tonight? I felt lost without anymore new episodes to watch. Philip has set the DVR to pick up all future episodes, and I'm excited for those.

Also, I ♥ Jim. However, I doubt any girl could watch the show and NOT "♥ Jim" by the end of Season Two, for sure.

*happy sigh*

ha ha ha ha ! you have an office icon!

I discovered the office a month or so ago, after a really bad day at work (it was 'homework'). My friend thought I might like the interactions between jim and dwight (we have a 'dwight' in our office)... OMG... Michael Scott.. He's the funniest... Especially the episode where he cooks his food :)

I cannot imagine actually interacting with a Dwight on a regular/daily basis. How do you not lose your mind?! I absolutely loathe his character (which, I'm sure, is the intention).

But I laughed at your last line. Whether you meant "food" or "foot," it still cracked me up. :-D

right- I meant foot :P

TV Dwight is more personable. If that's possible...

Yeah... I WAS losing my mind, which was why my friend hooked me up with the office :) It really made it more bearable!

the episode where michael cooks his foot is my very favorite episode. we have it saved on the xbox... for specific gems such as:

michael: *shows his bubblewrapped foot to stanley* STANLEY, what does this look like to you?
stanley: mailboxes, etcetera.

jim: what's your middle name?
dwight: DANGER.

michael: *falls into toilet* someone help me! get pam!
toby: pam's a female, she won't want to go in the men's room.
michael: GET RYAN!
*ryan shakes his head no*
toby: i can't... ryan's... gone.
michael: i just saw him!
toby: ryan's dead.

AND every single moment in the van... with the spray bottle... and when michael tries to put his foot in the machine...

yeah. epicness.

and michael's explanation of why exactly he's got a grill next to his bed. OMG. The entire episode I'm thinking GEEZ. I can see my dad doing exactly that.

Dwight,

At 8 AM today, someone poisons the coffee. Do NOT drink the coffee. More instructions will follow.

Cordially,

Future Dwight

I <3 Jim and Pam. And Dwight and Angela (but only their relationship and not them individually). And Andy and Erin with the same caveat as Dwight and Angela, heh. That show makes me unbelievably happy most of the time, even when I want to kick Michael in the teeth.

That moment when they find out she's pregnant and his reaction... it's amazing. I wonder what that would be like.
