Snubbed by a Snake.

It is unfair that I went to the very first showing of Snakes on a Plane last Thursday evening, and all my ticket stub says is, "Snakes on." I would really like to have kept it as a memento, but as it looked, it was rather... anti-climactic?

Yet af_cop Philip went last night, and his ticket reads, "Snakes on Plane." And he wasn't nearly as excited about the movie for months and months ahead of time!

It's not fair.

Perform soe ticket surgery? :-)

Nah, too much work. It's easier just to gripe about it. ;-)

club him over the head and take the ticket

it is the only solution

But it would still have the wrong date. Trust me, he did already offer, in hopes to sway me from wanting to beat him to death for his ticket. ;-)

See it again?

I could... but it still wouldn't have the correct date. :-/

I agree...that's really something that annoys me. I have all my LOTR and HP movie tickets, but oh! how I wish they printed the entire name of the films...I think I can only infer which specific movie it is by the date. Those movies in particular mean so much to me....and yet the very tickets which represent them are virtually 'half' a memorial. (I think at least one says "HARRY POT").

Yes, my GoF movie stub - 12:01am opening show - says "HARRY POTT," and I *hate* that.

*sigh*

I can get riled up over the stupidest things, really. It's funny sometimes, but it's also a curse other times. ;-)

P.s. this ticket thing happens to me every time, Pisses me off, so I can relate

I'll bet you've got a GoF stub that says "HARRY POTT" too, eh? ;-) Thanks for the notification - I do love MuggleCast (and work for the website as well), so I'll check it out.

I know! Isn't it just the best icon EVER?! Truly, the only thing that has held me back from using it (the icon first popped up months ago) is the fact that it has actual cursing in it. While I read cursing all the time and don't mind when other people do/say it, *I* myself never curse, and I can't bring myself to put an icon on my journal with something that I would never actually say.

But it is *soooooo* funny. Thanks for linking me to it - I hadn't seen it again in a little while. :-)
