Today has been very low-key. I sent out another bunch of 31 Christmas cards in the mail today, and I've been working on the rest this afternoon. The letters and cards are all signed, but these go to family members, and I have to toss in the boys' school pictures as well. They'll be ready by tomorrow, but of course, there will be no mail pick-up... so they'll go out Friday instead.

The boys and I watched the first three Harry Potter flicks today, back-to-back. It's been a good long while since I've done that. The last one just ended about fifteen minutes ago, and both boys are already now in bed and asleep. Bedtime is usually at 9pm, so this is really strange for me!

I made monkey bread as a special breakfast this morning. I remember my dad making it lots when I was growing up, but this is the first time I've ever made it - it was just one of those recipes that I forgot about for a while, I guess. A.J. liked it a lot (even had second helpings), but Jack didn't. Ah, well. Tomorrow's breakfast is pancakes and scrambled eggs, and he always loves that. ;-)

Thanksgiving hasn't been stressful for me this year, either. For the first time ever, I'm not doing the big dinner at my house; instead, we're going to Heather's house for Thanksgiving dinner. All I'm required to bring is my sweet tea and my Apple Blackberry Crumble pies, and those are easy enough. We'll have the big meal for lunch tomorrow, and then we'll have leftovers for dinner... but I won't have done hardly any of the work - yay!

I'm feeling a bit empty today, and there's really no good way to describe it. It's sad in a way, that I am so involved in my fandom as I am. However, I find myself just wanting something... something MORE today, and I can't find it somehow. I don't know if I'm just waiting for more HP pictures to come out, more fanfic, more ?? Just SOMETHING. This is what happens when it's been over two days since I've seen the latest movie, I guess, but I just feel frumpy.

I'm off to find something to immerse myself in for the rest of tonight. Like I said, it's weird to have the boys already sleeping - I feel like I don't know what to do with myself!
