Yah. Unfortunately they already seem to have learned a lesson that we all have learned as well, but which is incorrect: they have learned that credit cards are worth money.
Credit cards are only worth money if you are a credit card company.
Otherwise, they are worth somewhere between zero and a large negative number.
(Actually, my corporate card for work has a positive balance on it, but that's a short and uninteresting story.)
