Noisy birds and upcoming cookies.
Aug. 20th, 2010 12:29 pmAnd so I have pictures. And pictures and pictures and pictures. I've weeded through and tossed a bunch, but there are still SO. MANY.
In the meantime, I also have birdies in my bedroom. Well, not technically in my bedroom, but the volume of their chirps sure seems like it! When I returned home from vacation, I was hanging clothes in my closet, and I paused... it sounded like there were birds in my wall. As the days have passed, the constant cheeping has grown in intensity, and I don't think I've slept well since I've been home. They don't even stop at night!
Philip climbed above our master bedroom deck, but he isn't able to see or reach the birds, though he can tell where they are located: in an eave between the two houses. (By the way, "eave" looks very strange typed out. Hmmm.) We called housing about the issue, and they told us to call Arthropology or some-such. We've left messages for three days now with no return call, and after last night's "sleep," I decided it was okay for me to call their emergency line. I did, and someone will be out this afternoon.
Bless, I may have sleep tonight. :-)
I have two cookie orders ahead of me. I'll be baking tomorrow for a birthday party next Sunday, and then I'll be baking again next week for a baby shower the following Sunday. I'm so happy to be back in my kitchen, creating new things. In addition, I picked up some visual aids to try and create new little designs on cookies, and I can't wait to work on them!
