Last night I redeemed more CokeRewards points for four free movie rentals. Though each coupon said the certificates could not be combined, the cashier said it was no problem, so each of the boys picked out a movie, and I saved two coupons for another time. Yay, free movies!

This morning I redeemed points from our WellsFargo CheckCard program for the first time. Winging its way to our home now is a $25 gift card to Chili's. Not only that, but a $25 gift card from Borders is on the way as well. Yay, free food! Yay, free books!

Yay! Yay! Yay!

Though this is probably not news to anyone else at this point, I have to make reference to the Cover Art being released for Book Seven!

That UK children's cover? Looks like a Gringott's vault to me, but I'm sure I'm incorrect in my assumptions.

I'm so dang excited! I'm probably going to use my new gift card to Borders to buy this book, too!

So I'm watching like a hawk, and I just was inspecting A.J.'s eyes for symptoms when I saw the slight bloodshed whites and the creamy white goop starting in his lower lid.

I guess it would be too easy to ask for him to have been spared from the pinkeye, right? I've already given him his first dose of drops and called the school to inform them that he won't be there tomorrow, and that they should probably heavily sanitize Ms. J's room, just in case.

*sigh*

My younger sis sent me this link, and it is too great not to share. :-)

This accident happened in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, and you must listen to it. It is a phone call from a man who witnesses a car accident involving four elderly women. It was so popular when they played it on CHUM FM that they had to put it on their website.

The guy's laugh is contagious. If you close your eyes and picture what he is watching, it is even better than a video clip!

Good: Daily emails from Philip - sometimes a couple each day.
Sad: Philip's been gone for one month today.

Good: Jack's pinkeye seems to be much better.
Bad: A.J.'s got it now.

Good: Exciting HP news released today.
Bad: Still having to wait 114 days until the book is in my hands.

Good: I have everything I need to make tonight's dinner (gravy patties n' fixin's)
Bad: I want chicken tacos instead.

Good: I've finished two more bookmarks.
Bad: I don't have the appropriate cotton to start the project I *really* want to.
