A morning with Ms. Bridget.
Aug. 30th, 2006 09:57 amI've got Ms. Bridget this morning while
Jamie is at the hospital having the baby. At 11:30, I'll be picking up both Jack and Noah (Jamie's son) and bringing them home. Noah and Bridget will be here until the baby's born.
After getting Bridget from Jamie's parents in the parking lot, they followed me home so they'd know where to come and pick them up later. Then Bridget and I ran out to get an "yunyun" (onion) for tonight's dinner. While we were there, she also picked out some lovely flowers to take to the hospital for her Mommy. She was so proud when she found the perfect bunch, proclaiming loudly, "Ta-da!" On the drive home, I had asked her what kinds of things she liked to eat for lunch. She thought hard for a few seconds and then answered, "Frosting! Frosting... and sprinkles... and chocolate and cinnabun rolls." Heehee - you can't blame her for trying, right? I asked her if she also liked things like turkey or ham sandwiches, peanut butter and jelly, and carrots or fruit. And yes, she likes those things too. :-)
I've put the flowers into some water for now, and I've tidied up just a bit. Bridget is going outside with me in a few minutes to check on the pumpkins. She loves them almost as much as I do!
