Text-y icon goodness!

So I've gushed before about my love of the fanfic story Affairs of a Wilting Flower, written by the amazing hermioneluna (and if you haven't started reading it yet, what the HECK are you waiting for?! GO!). Tonight calls for even more gushing.

I love this story. I love it so much. I ♥ it. And I find myself thinking about it often. So often, in fact, that I found myself really, really, REALLY wishing I had icons to use for it. There are SO MANY great quotes, and I wanted to be using them.

I made icons for it! And I'm so very, very pleased with them. And I couldn't WAIT to share them with hermioneluna too, and she was so surprised and happy that she nearly cried! That makes me feel so good! Her work makes me happy, and I wanted to make her happy! It's a happyfest! :-D

Slytherin pride.

So I say that I'm a Slytherin. I claim it wholeheartedly. My cell phone proudly sports a background of Slytherin pride (see current icon for exact image), and the theme is set to green. An HP ringtone that I made myself seals the deal.

I thought that was pretty good.

Until now.

Dagnabbit! There is this really awesome deco set available for cell phones, but NOT FOR MY OWN PHONE. The company marketing this design calls it 'Wind.' I think it would best be described:

AVADA KEDAVRA!

I want. Alas, it wouldn't fit my flip-close cell phone. :-(

Edited to add: Argh. It is ironic that - as I'm trying to update my journal with this nugget of hilarity - my journal is popped into "read-only mode." Hmmm.
