The seven best words in the world.

"Sometime next week I will be home."

*cries happy, happy tears*

I received this message in my email inbox this morning, and I've been crying happily ever since. Nothing more, nothing less - just those seven words. I don't know anything more, but I am just so, so, SO happy right now. Look how many words it's taking ME to express this!!

I feel so much joy. I feel alive today, just hearing from him. It's been a month or more since we talked on the phone, and I've only had a handful of emails from him in that time as well. I am just so happy for communication, but it's SO MUCH MORE wonderful when the communication is telling me that he's coming home.

I've called a few people on the phone now, and they've all cried with me. :-)

Today has been a day of flying unbelievably, absolutely high. I've been on a cloud all day. I don't think I've ever smiled so big, nor smiled through so many happy, happy tears.

He's coming home!

The phone has rung off the hook all day long - they've been good phone calls. :-)

Jack and I went out for lunch and then went to my friend Jan's house for a playdate this afternoon. Jack played with her son Cole, and they got along well. They'll be coming over here on Thursday for another playtime, providing that the weather is nice that day.

It was just such a wonderful day.
