The IMs with my husband as of late? 'Racy' would not be appropriate to describe the level of heat implied. I assure you, I have blushed a deeper color in front of my computer screen than ever the sun's most vehement rays have laid upon my skin.

I wonder... does the candle of night still blaze on, even if I am not awake to tend it through the wee hours of the morning? I, most assuredly, do not want to be responsible for the halt of night's progress in the world...

But... I don't feel as though I can make it past 1am tonight.

It's raining on my dinner.

So now we're under tornado, severe thunderstorm and hail warnings. In my opinion, it looks fabulous!

It's really all Marissa's doing, though. She's been out here doing the rain dance for a few days - she's so excited right now!

Her hubby Blake just ran over some brown sugar for me (since I forgot to buy more while I was just at the store, and I used the last of mine to make them chocolate chip cookies), and now the Pineapple Upside-Down cake is baking in the oven. Tonight's dinner is fajitas and chip n' dip - yummm!

Wonder if I should turn off the computer about now... ?
