I've been having creative fun lately. I surprised one friend with a custom banner for her journal, and I made another friend a banner by request. As I'm quite proud of them, I thought I'd let you all see a glimpse as well:

It's 9:10am, and Jack is still sound asleep in his bedroom. Bliss!

Ahh, another lazy summer day. I've showered and dressed, the beds are made and the boys are dressed... and that's about it. The greatest part is that there ISN'T anything else that I *need* to do, either.

I was happy to see that 99% of the black ink from yesterday came off in today's shower. Of course, I plan on tracing several more little letters later today, so it'll all be right back. I wish I had some disposable gloves or something - then I'd put those on instead and let the ink get all over them.

I was working on the little felt letters last night outside at the picnic table and by coincidence, Ethel called me as I was doing them. She needs four of the 'Child of God' sets by this Sunday for upcoming baptisms at the church. I had to laugh that she interrupted my making the felt sets to tell me that she needed more felt sets!

I think I'm off for a while. It's too nice a day to just be sitting here. :-)
