Call to Care: Step 2

A.J. has a complete physical scheduled with Dr. McNabb on May 11th at 9:30am - the soonest appointment I can get him in. :-|

Plans for today

It's going to be a "normal" day, for one. No more tears - I didn't even cry all day yesterday, so today will just be another step in the right direction.

We're fixin' to leave for the commissary. I desperately want to take my shower first, but if I get in the shower right now, I'll be reminded that I forgot to get shampoo before my last shower, in which I was reminded that I forgot to get more shampoo for the shower before that, in which I'll be reminded that I forgot to get more shampoo after I used the last of it in the shower before THAT.

Did you follow all that? :-D Anyhow, I don't want to use the boys' shampoo again - it just doesn't make me feel as *clean* somehow. So, I'm going to the commissary to pick up shampoo, among other things.

Tonight we're going over to Heather's house to see her parents. Her mom and dad are like an extra set of grandparents for the boys, and we want to spend some time with them before they have to leave. We're grilling out hot dogs, I believe, and that's always an enticement as well. ;-)

I think I'll pay some bills this afternoon, too. Ick. We got paid a little bit early from today, so I might as well go ahead and get that done.

Also, a giant "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!" wish goes out today to the lovely Maria and goofy Bobby. They're celebrating 5 YEARS today!

Alrightee. I'm off to the commissary. Need me to pick anything up for you? ;-)
