Movie update

navygreenFight Club: This movie was not what I was expecting in the least. I thought it was going to be an action-packed, on-the-edge-of-your-seat kind of film, but it was actually a very quiet, slow-moving kind of flick. And it's long. 2 hours and 20 minutes. But Edward Norton and Brad Pitt both do amazing work, and it does have such an interesting ending. I really can't say much more about it, but I liked it well enough.

theswedishchef, and it was sooo worth it! The movie is by the creator of the famous The Gods Must Be Crazy, which I LOVED years ago. It's actually a documentary about animals, but the narrating makes everything so cute and funny. Philip and I watched this one evening, Jack watched it the next morning, and then Jack watched it again when A.J. returned home from school that afternoon. They both loved it. Check it out - I think anyone would like this one!
SNL: The Best of Mike Myers: Exactly what you would think. Some of his very best skits, but there were still a lot more that I wanted to see. We've watched this one and the Dana Carvey one, and we'll probably also check out the Adam Sandler one, too.
