It does, yes, but then when I sleep a normal schedule, we really don't see each other at all. I mean, he gets home around 6:30am, goes to sleep by 7:30 or so, and then gets up by 3pm to get ready for work. He only sees the boys for about 20 minutes, and then he's gone by 4pm. It sounds like it's an hour, but really, he's getting ready pretty much the whole time (showering, etc).
And on his days off, he still can't just switch his schedule so easily - it's literally "night & day." He adjusts it some, usually going to bed more like 3am or so, but still not waking until 11 or noon.
It's much better when they work in 8-hour shifts and not the 12-hours they're currently in. In an 8-hour schedule, he would go to work at 8pm, still get home at 6:30-7, sleep until 3 or so, and then we'd have four hours of seeing him. But I don't know if/when they'll be heading back into 8's again. :-/
