Hair update.

Because everyone has totally been on the edge of their seats for this, I'm sure. *wink*

I bought the recommended 'smoothing milk' yesterday afternoon (the last bottle on the shelf, even!), and I tried it out this morning after my shower. OMG! My hair feels so soft on the ends now - it's unreal! I'm so excited to continue using this stuff. Wow!

Seriously, I put just the teeniest bit of milk in my hand, rubbed it into the ends of my hair and then ran my fingers up and through the rest of my hair, but the result is AMAZING.

Thanks so much, all of you who helped me out with recommendations and ideas. :-)

Ooh, I use that stuff and I love it! It's made a huge difference with me as well, and I think I'm like you in that I really don't want to bothered with doing too much with my hair.

It doesn't have an overpowering smell, either - WIN all around!

OK, I have to know what you bought and where you got it. I don't do much to my hair, but I'd love to tame my frizzy ends!

Well, I'm having difficulty finding it to link to online. Amazon.com has it, but no descriptions with it, and neither Target nor Walmart have it online (though I bought it at Target). So, here's what to do:

1. Go here: http://www.garnierfructisusa.com/
2. Select 'styling products.'
3. Check out 'Anti-Humidity Smoothing Milk'

Ta-da. :-)

I'll look for it at Target. I wonder if it will work on curly hair?

[identity profile] navygreen.livejournal.com 2007-06-20 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
It should. It's designed to control the frizz in wavy, curly hair. :-)

That sounds like exactly what I need! This is what I get for never going to a stylist. I didn't even know such a product existed.

Wow! Sounds like an amazing product! Who makes it?

See above comment to [livejournal.com profile] gardenmama. :-)

I'm using it every day now while I'm on vacation and in the saltwater, chlorine filled pool, and weird water that's different from my well at home! It's definitely a great product and much cheaper than that perm!

Yes, definitely!

Wow....what is the name of the soothing milk? I might have to try it out.

[identity profile] navygreen.livejournal.com 2007-06-23 02:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Hee, I see that you've already got it figured out. :-)

Just saw your previous comments. I've been using Fructis shampoo/conditioner for curly hair and it has made a big difference in my hair. I have some conditioning cream too but must look for the stuff you are using.

Not being familiar with GF products, I had a little trouble finding it on the shelf - everything is neon green! But I'm sure you'll find it easily enough.
