Lotsa mail.

There has been and will be lots of mail this week. Since I have a love affair with my mailbox, this is an especially good thing!

What has already come:

- a shiny mixed CD of cool songs from mostcurious
- a box containing 11 miniature Coca~Cola cars and trucks from mix3d3m0ti0n5
- a long and lovely penpal card from kpnut
- a bix box of goodies from my mom

What is still coming:

- a box of Hugs from amenquohi (thanks for the tip, sdaisyk!)
- a bookmark from dstroy
- an order from BookPlanet Book Club
- an order from Children's Book-of-the-Month Club

And because mail is reciprocal, I need to mail out the following tomorrow:

- a box to my mom
- a package to gardenmama
- pictures to Philip's mom

Though I have talked to Dorota to see if she could make me a better bookmark at some point in the future - a SLYTHERIN one, of course! She'd said she would keep an eye out for materials. ;-D

'Male love'- too funny! I'm *so* looking forward to Friday night just for that reason. Mmmmm...

Last night while talking to Mom she was commenting on how fast this week has gone. She couldn't believe that 'tomorrow is already Hump Day', a term she's used for Wednesday ever since I can remember. Well, I had to correct her that *my* hump day won't be until Friday! DOH! ;-)

But I do think we stay at home moms like mail love a little more than most. It's a little treat/escape from the routine sometimes.

Oh, I don't know. I've always liked mail more than the average person, I think. I used to salivate over junk mail, even. In fact, in the first year or so that we were married and lived in Alaska, my mom would even send me her junk mail - I didn't get hardly any of my own, and I was sad!

On a side note, I was tickled to see your comment in my inbox last night. I'd been thinking about you in particular for hours. In searching for the entry in which I "met" beanpop, I found so many, many comments from you from before you had an LJ. You've always been such a huge commenter, and I love your "voice of reason" in difficult times in my life. Thanks for always being there, Chele!

Don't comment as much now that I am working and they prefer I do Amazon's work. Silly people. I thought I was just there to surf the web faster than I can at home.

And to get yelled at by customers who have to blame someone for their lack of planning. If you had noticed your mail was making a tour of the eastern seaboard, maybe you could have called the post office and tried to get it back. Callng me about it after 5 Christmas Eve's eve is too little to late for me to try and rush something out. If you had called by the previous Wednesday, we could have replaced your order and gotten it to you.

I think I need to do another Customers Suck post. I seem to have some issues about some of my callers.
