Coolness! I just checked out the link and realized you're like, one of those people who can answer questions like: How does one put a website into a post, yet have the link in different writing?

ie... instead of www.what_I_want_you_to_go_to.com it would read in hypertext, this is what I want you to see

Umm... yes? Yes, I can/will answer questions like that. That example is more of a general internet-related question, however. Most of the requests that come through Support are LJ-based only.

But I'm not yet sure. Do you really need to know how to make a link... or not?

At some point, I'd like to know. I've searched the LJ faq section and haven't found anything that I recognize as answering my question. But I see it in other people's journals all the time. In the context of a sentence, there will be a link, and when you click on it, it will take you to where they want you to go without typing the http address.

For example, if I wanted you to check out my flist page, but I wanted it to read like this:

OMG, guys! You *have* to go check out this awesome entry on my flist! Go now!

Then I would type the text like this:

OMG, guys! You *have* to go check out this awesome entry on my

<a href="http://navygreen.livejournal.com/friends">flist!</a>

Go now!

And clicking on the hyperlink would take you directly where I wanted you to go. Make sense?
