Minty books and VeggieTales.
I'm addicted to Children's Book-of-the-Month Club. It's sad, really. However, I've now already ordered books for the boys' birthdays in August, so I'm feeling quite ahead of the game. I still have to decide on something else, but I always like to get them a new book or two as well.
I love Junior Mints. While Philip and I were at the theatre yesterday, I bought two king-size boxes of Junior Mints - one for the movie, and one for another time. Well, I decided to open the second box after lunch today. About four mints in, I got a bad one. It wasn't really bad, per se, but it wasn't a Junior Mint. It was a hard chunk of dark chocolate, and it ruined me for the mints for the rest of the day. That's probably a good thing, though...
The boys have been on a major VeggieTales® kick lately. We've been buying the videos and toys since A.J. was only three months old, and we really have almost everything, but for a while there, I thought maybe the boys had finally 'outgrown' VeggieTales (perish the thought!). For the last two months or so, A.J. has slept with a stuffed Larry™ each night, while Jack cuddled Bob™. And for the past month, they've been playing with all of their stuffed veggies and toys, and they've been watching all the videos over and over again. A.J. has been listening to his portable CD player with all the VeggieTales soundtracks and CDs most of the rest of the time (and he's nice enough to share it with Jack often, too). At this very moment, the boys are engrossed watching Jonah: Sing-Along Songs. I love VeggieTales myself, so I could never really get tired of this. :-)
