Aaa-choo!
It's definitely that season again. Allergy season. Ugh. I've never had problems with allergies until we moved here almost 3 years ago. I was born and raised in pollen-filled East Texas, I lived over 4 years in the woods of West Virginia, and I didn't have a hint of a sniffle during my 3 years in Alaska (though that's not much of a surprise, really), but Nebraska... Oh, NE is an entirely different story.
I must say, though, I notice a huge difference from last year already. I began taking Zyrtec once daily in late September last year, and it really culled my needing an inhaler for allergy-induced asthma attacks. All through the winter, I only needed to use my inhaler once every month or so. Now that allergy season is upon us again, I've already caught myself using it 3 times in the past 2 weeks.
And my eyes. Though they're nothing compared to last year's, they are still a bit irritated. I've been wearing my glasses for 6 weeks straight now, as I can't use my allergy drops with my contact lenses. It's a good thing that I'm still so in love with my new-ish glasses. :-)
So the biggest sign of allergies that I'm having to deal with right now is a very stuffed-up nose each morning. It goes away by noon, so it's not too bad. If it stays like this, I'll consider myself blessed, as I know many more people have much worse problems with their allergies.
Edited to add: And speaking of allergies, I'm off to Menard's in a bit to pick up some weedkiller and fertilizer. Wheee!
